QT Nail Polishes by Weens - Eight Random Swatches

As a nail blogger, I have resigned myself to the fact that yellow nails will always be an annoying and inevitable part of my life. So, imagine my joy at finding a local (yup, LOCAL) brand that manufactures 5-free nontoxic nail polishes! Woohoo! I currently have around 150 shades combined from their two nail polish lines (QT and Weens) and I'm going to start of with the first eight random shades my hands latched onto.

Heart Water Decals from Born Pretty Store

Hi everyone! Today I'll show you a pair of water nail decals I got from Born Pretty Store. They had a Lucky Bag promo where you can get two of them for just $0.99. I received an uncut decal sheet filled with hearts and another decal sheet full of Christmas-themed stuff. I saved the latter for Christmas and I tried on the former.

Caronia Shades of Summer Collection - First Crush, On the Go and Summer Fling Swatches

Caronia Philippines recently released a collection called Shades of Summer. It has six polishes all of which have been released before so I wasn't planning on buying any but their new polishes are now 3-free so I bought three out of the six shades. I just wanted to see how their new formula differed from their old one. Hihi.

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to show you my swatches of Bobbie Mojito. Some of you might remember this polish as the background color for my Simple Stars Stamping Nail Art. This is one of seven polishes from their Holoprism collection (I think they're all named after an alcoholic drink). Aside from Mojito, there's Weng Weng, Purple Passion, Margarita, Vodka on Ice, Mint Daquiri and Mudslide.

This is a burgundy holographic nail polish from one of my favorite local brands, Bobbie (from their Holoprism Collection). My camera couldn't really capture the rainbows (like it did here) but I swear they're there. Hihi.

Hi! This is another Borghese nail polish that I bought on ebay. It's this deep shimmering burgundy that I really love. The formula is great but the brush is so wide and stiff that I had a hard time applying it. (I really hate that brush). Still, it's pretty.

It's this red nail polish with zillions of red micro glitters in it. I'm actually dreading the removal process... lol. Still, sooooooo preeeetttyyyy. Hihi.

This one is a red nail polish with silver micro glitters. The formula was a little too sheer for me because after applying three coats, I can still see my nail's "free edge". Still, I really like the subtle glints that I see whenever the light hits my nails.

Loooooove Mojito from Bobbie. I like dark colored nails so this is perfect for me. Yey! It's a plum polish that has lots of micro glitters that make it sooooo cooool. It took me three coats to achieve this shade but hey, I'm not complaining. Bwahahaha.

Earlier today, I was sorting through all of my nail art paraphernalia and I found out that I don't have enough containers for storing them. I can't seem to stop myself from buying different shades and brands of nail polish. Hihi. I'm also trying to search for ways to improve this blog (which includes epic fail photoshop attempts, rawr). Anyway, this is another polish from Chic. It's this cool glittery red polish named Siam which has a grainy or slightly rough texture. I used around 2 coats for this and like it's siblings, it doesn't chip that easily.
