CHIC Black Velvet
NAIL ART STUFF USED:
BORN PRETTY STORE Mini Round Glitters Set
Hi! I was lucky enough to be contacted by Born Pretty Store and given these awesome glitters to review. It's my first time using round glitters (I've tried diamond ones before) and it's also my first time placing glitters on my whole nail. Read on for more information about my glitter placement adventure.
(^^,)
When you buy this set, you will receive 12 different colored mini round glitters placed in individual round containers. You'll have five opaque colors - black, silver, green, red and gold. And the rest are translucent colors - white, blue, pink, hot pink, yellow, neon pink and light blue.
(^-^)
Moving on to the nail art itself, I first applied two coats of black polish as the background. Then I carefully placed rows of gold, green and red round glitters in random directions. I went for horizontal rows for my index finger, quarter-circular? rows for my middle finger, diagonal rows for my ring finger and circular rows for my pinky. Whew~ I didn't know placing glitters individually would be so hard! I think I spent two hours doing this. My hand wouldn't stop shaking. lol.
(^_^)
Please excuse the dark, blurry photos. I had a hard time taking decent ones under my lamp because the glitters were so shiny, they kept reflecting like crazy. I took these photos below my desk in order to show just how awesome these glitters look in real life (and in party mode). My nails are now ready to par-teh~
\(^o^)/
Oh and I did V-rows for my thumb. Hehe. What do you think? Which design/pattern do you like most? Thank you again Born Pretty Store for sending this round glitters set. And thank you all for dropping by and supporting my blog! Good bye for now and I'll see you again tomorrow!
\(^o^)/
P.S.
Born Pretty Store is currently celebrating their 4th year anniversary. They're offering 20%-80% discount on selected items! Eeeek! If only I wasn't banned from buying stuff!
