Caronia Shades of Summer Collection - First Crush, On the Go and Summer Fling Swatches

Caronia Philippines recently released a collection called Shades of Summer. It has six polishes all of which have been released before so I wasn't planning on buying any but their new polishes are now 3-free so I bought three out of the six shades. I just wanted to see how their new formula differed from their old one. Hihi.

Bench Paint Box Matte Nail Polishes - Lilac Ash, Rose Wine, Toasted Almond and Arctic Ice Swatches

Around a year or so ago, Bench (a popular clothing brand here in the Philippines) released their own nail polish line. I was pretty skeptical about it but when I saw these matte polishes, I immediately bought four of them. Hihi. I did a little research about the brand and they say that all of their nail polishes are vegan. Aside from having Keratin and being 3-Free, they're all not tested on animals and there are no animal derivatives added. I'm very happy with their vegan formula and I'm gonna show my swatches of these four matte polishes.

Color Trends Sherbet Nail Polish Collection - Blueberry, Mango, Raspberry and Tamarind Swatches

Summer is here and it's time to whip out all those bright colored nail polishes. That's why today I'm going to show you the whole Sherbet collection from one of the local nail polish brands here in the Philippines - Color Trends. I bought all four sherbets - Blueberry Sherbet, Mango Sherbet, Raspberry Sherbet and Tamarind Sherbet using my own money.

Hi! A week ago, a reader e-mailed me and requested for a simple design using a matte top coat and the color blue. I immediately thought of this nail art I did a looong time ago and decided to recreate it in blue this time. But, due to laziness (and craziness), I skipped using the french tip guides or tapes and decided to just wing it using the brush from the nail polish itself. lol.

Pink Gradient Nails!...

Hi! I would like to show you this simple gradient nail design I did an hour ago. I made layers with the help of french tip guides (I ran out of tape). I used Chic's Frosty Rose, The Face Shop's PP402 and Chic's Black Velvet. I then applied a matte top coat to blend the colors a little more.

Hi! I have another local nail polish to show you. This is Sunny Tan from OMG by Klik. It's a beautiful taupe that makes my skin look whiter. Its also very opaque. I only used two coats to achieve this shade.

Now, don't get me wrong, I really really like it. But then I saw my matte top coat and I knew I had to do it. Hihi. That's why I'm showing you the matte version as well. Woohoo. Applying the matte top coat turned out to be an awesome idea, don't you think? I mean, which version do you like better? The shiny one or the matte one? I personally prefer the matte one because well, I'm a matte addict but hey, that's just me. Hahaha.

Hi! Some of you might remember Spooktacular, the awesome green matte polish. Well, meet her sister, At the Strike of Midnight.

It's a very deep purple matte polish that reminds me of the midnight sky. It's easy to apply (brush was the perfect size for my nails) and drying time was short too. This collection hasn't let me down yet so I think I'll buy the rest too.

This is a matte nail polish that reminds me of moss. It's mostly green with a hint of brown underneath (plus green micro glitters). The brush was just the right size for my nails and the formula was also very good making it super easy to apply.

A little pricey for a tiny bottle but every cent is worth it. Like I said, spooktacular! Anyway, thank you to my new followers! I'm looking forward to our interactions.
