Caronia Shades of Summer Collection - First Crush, On the Go and Summer Fling Swatches

Caronia Philippines recently released a collection called Shades of Summer. It has six polishes all of which have been released before so I wasn't planning on buying any but their new polishes are now 3-free so I bought three out of the six shades. I just wanted to see how their new formula differed from their old one. Hihi.

Hi! Most of my Caronias dried out... I was trying to reorganize my stash (and shake every polish) when I discovered this sad fact. *sighs* Oh well. I'll try to revive some of them using solvent but they won't be the same anymore. Thankfully, this gorgeous polish survived. Whew~

Hi! Just a quick post before I go to sleep. This is Kiwi from Caronia's Tropical Doll collection. It's a deep lime green nail polish that is perfect for summer. The formula was very thick and a little lumpy but a good top coat can fix that so I'm not too bothered.

Caronia Moss!...

Hi! I found this while waiting for my sister (and wandering aimlessly inside the grocery store). This is one of the nail polishes from Caronia's Miss Mystic collection. I also bought Rouge but Moss just screamed for my attention first.

The name says it all. It's a dusky moss green with a beautiful green shimmer. It reminds me a bit of camouflage clothes (or one of the greens found in them). The formula was also really good. It was self-leveling (not too thin and not too thick) and I experienced no streaks. Yay!

Now, I really love it when local brands release new collections. They're usually so pretty and affordable and I can't wait to see what comes out next. Hihi. Anyway, I need to go and sleep now because I have an early day tomorrow. Good night and I'll see you again soon!

Summer Fling!...

Tadaaa! This nail polish has a pinkish red tone that reminds me of a coral that I saw somewhere (I forgot its name, sorry). Application was smooth and it only took me two coats to achieve this shade. I really love this color because it makes me feel so feminine.

Anyway, I'm very frustrated with blogger right now because I just spent the past 15 minutes trying to get rid of that blank space after the price of the nail polish. Is it just me or is there really a whole blank line up there. *sighs* I swear it doesn't look like that when I edit my posts. Waaaaaa.

Gyaaa. I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday. The lights went out (again) because of the rain. I waited for them to turn back on (while reading ebooks on my phone) so that I can at least show you my wonderful nails.

On the go is a wonderful teal color. It reminds me of the ocean and my mother's favorite t-shirt. lol. Application was a little bumpy because the formula was thick but a good top coat can fix it. It's really pretty.

Waaaaaaa. I'm very very sorry I haven't blogged for the last 2 days. I don't know what's happening to my body. I think I'm getting sick or I'm just tired. Every time my head hits my pillow (usually around nine in the evening), I fall asleep and wake up at nine in the morning.

Anyway, due to my epic fail nail polish application last time, I decided to try another Caronia nail polish to see if it's just me or what. I really like the color of this one. It's officially summer and most schools' classes are over so I think this color can be a celebration of that. It's just so bright and sunny. My application was very smooth compared to last time and I want more of this collection now that I've seen the colors.

Waaaaaaa epic fail application! I don't know if it's me or the polish itself but waaaaaa. *cries*. It was so lumpy and no matter how many coats I apply, it won't spread evenly. *sobs*. I'll try to apply this better next time.
