Blue Stars Stamping Nail Art

NAIL POLISHES USED:
KAND Black Stamping Polish
KLEANCOLOR Chunky Holo Teal

IMAGE PLATE USED:
BORN PRETTY STORE BP-03

Hi everyone! I'm having a lot of fun trying out nail art stamping so I've decided to show you another nail art look using that technique. Born Pretty Store recently sent me this awesome stamping plate from their own line and I knew I had to use it as soon as possible.
(^^,)

BP-03 has a total of nine images with three full nail ones and six smaller ones. The designs range from stars to roses to cats and more. I tried all of them out and I'm pretty impressed with how well the designs are engraved. I mean, look at how well those thin lines transfer.
(*o*)

Now, for this nail art look, I first applied three coats of Kleancolor Chunky Holo Teal and added a matte top coat. Then I stamped the swirls and stars full nail images using black stamping polish. I only stamped all of them once so you can see some smudges here and there. Other than that, I'm really feeling the matte and flaky holo combination. What do you think? Is it just me or does this remind me of Sailor Moon? Hihi. Thank you all for dropping by today! I have to say good bye now but I promise I'll visit all of your blogs later~ See you soon!
(^o^)

P.S.
I have a 10% off coupon code KAG10 which you can use if you want to check out Born Pretty Store's cool stamping plates. You can know more about it in my Disclosure tab above.

  5. Would you say this is your favourite stamper? I also have a Rectangular Stamper; the only difference is, mine is black with the white rubber / silicone. I'm also still new to stamping :)

    1. Hmmm. I just discovered that I like the squishy ones better. The ones that you can sort of squeeze between your fingers. I found that my nails are very curved so whenever I use the rubber ones (the Born Pretty Store one and the Konad one), I need to roll the design carefully from left to right or else the design will just stamp on the middle part of my nail. On the other hand, the squishy ones can ummm, adapt? to the curve of my nail and when you press down, it can cover my whole nail without that much careful rolling involved. As for the shape of the stampers, I like the rectangular ones better because I'm loving full nail stamps these past few weeks. Hihi. Please excuse my poor English writing skill. Hope this helps.

  6. Hi! Where did you get your Kleancolor polish? Do we have a local distributor in the Philippines? Thanks much! :)

    1. Hi Karen! I don't think we have an official local distributor in the Philippines anymore. I remember seeing a Facebook page for Kleancolor Philippines but when I tried searching for it, it says it's no longer active or I'm not allowed to view it. Oh, and I bought this at one of the beauty bazaars a looong time ago. But I also saw some Kleancolor polishes at eBay.ph so you might want to check there. Hope this helps.
