Beauty vs Brains Tag!...

Hi! One of my favorite bloggers, Kim of A Very Sweet Blog tagged me with a Beauty vs Brains tag. Some of the questions made me a little nuts so I just wanted to warn you that you may read a lot of babbles and some crazy answers because we all know I'm a crazy person. lol.

Favorite Book?

Ouch. First question and it's already so tough to answer. lol. I've read a lot and I liked a lot of what I've read so I can't really decide which one is my most favorite. However, I've recently been hooked into the paranormal romance/urban fantasy genre and the book that started it all was Slave to Sensation. Slave to Sensation is the first book of the Psy/Changeling series. It opened my eyes into a whole new genre that I haven't encountered before. The whole series at the time had ten books and I finished all of them in just eight days straight. Yup, I went nuts. Haha. It was summer so I had nothing else to do besides eating and sleeping but I barely slept during those eight days because I had so much fun reading this series and I just couldn't sleep that well because I wanted to know what happens next!! And my mother actually asked me if I was doing something important because I rarely went of my room then. Hahaha. Of course, ever since then, I have stalked a lot of other authors (like Ilona Andrews who made my second favorite series, the Kate Daniels series) and jotted down the dates of their next releases. Hihi. Like I said, I went nuts.

Favorite Quotation?
source
Every time someone says something bad about me I'll just sing:

I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose,
fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim,
fire away, fire away
You shoot me down but I won't fall,
I am titanium...

Yup, I'm a little emo... lol. I'm a very happy person by nature but there are times when life dumps mud on your head. Singing helps make me feel a lot better during such times. Of course, I only sing when I know no one else is listening. lol. I don't want to ruin someone else's day... Hahahahaha.

English or Math?
source

Uhmm... I badly want to choose both but I don't think I can. Haha. I mean, I read a lot, yes, but I don't have the right creativity within me to right essays, paragraphs, stories and such so I don't think I have the right to choose English (not to mention my not-so-good grammar, lol). As for Math, I rocked my high school math subjects. Like I didn't study and still aced the tests. However, my college ones (aka Calculus).... nah... not good... not good at all... *shudders*
(>_<)

Science or Art?
Content Creation Art vs. Science
source
Art. Definitely art. Science made me cry. lol. I crawled my way through science ever since I was in high school. I barely passed my Physics subject then and I don't even want to think about my college days. Haha. Of course, I also don't know how to draw real drawings. I mean, I can't draw any decent animals, humans.. anything complex. I like mixing, matching and blending colors better... Hihi. I'm more of an abstract art sort of artist.

Favorite and Least Favorite Subject at School?

Favorite Subject: Math
Least Favorite Subject: Science

I still like mathematical equations better than chemical ones. lol. 'Nuff said.

Baking! I really don't have any preferences where just as long as I learn how to bake properly. I have baked two cakes during my entire life and they are both dry and bland and ugly and dry. lol. I wasn't ready then... I'm ready now! I want to bake cookies, scones, croissant, everything! I want to bake awesome rainbow cakes and then puke rainbows! Hahaha.

What Is Your Nerdy Little Secret?
2NE1
source
I am a closeted Kpop addict. lol. I like listening to Kpop songs.... a lot.. Hahaha. I love 2NE1, Big Bang, Lee Hi, Brown Eyed Girls, Ailee, Sistar, etc. I like their melodies and the Korean language just sounds so beautiful. And the dances are awesome. I mean, AWESOME. lol. They're all so in sync and I love it! Hihi. Oh, and I also love the Eat Your Kimchi youtube channel. Go check it out! I swear it's fun and Spudgy's soooo cute! lol.

Beauty Gurus You Admire for More Than Their Love of Fashion/Beauty?
source
I admire a lot so I can't really list everyone here. Let me just say that I love the fact that everyone's so friendly and helpful when I ask them some questions and leave some comments. I mean, they're just so... nice! It makes me feel happy to know that people who are beautiful both inside and out still exist. Hooray! There's still hope! lol.

If Your Blog Couldn't Be Focused on Beauty/Fashion, What Would Be the Focus Instead?
source
FOOD! lol. Sorry, I'm a little excited to talk about one of my favorite things to do in life: EAT. I like eating. I like tasting different types of food, different cuisines.. I want to share what tastes bad, what tastes good.. But really... I just want to eat. Hahaha.

Name 5 musical artists that changed your life.
I have a lot of artists that makes me feel happy and optimistic so I can't really name them all. But I've decided to list those artists that introduced me to the wonderful word of music.

Celine Dion's voice was one of the voices my voice tried to imitate. Haha. I still remember trying to sing "My Heart Will Go On" in front of my whole Grade 1 class. lol. My teacher liked it so much she recommended me to the principal and wanted me to sing in front of the whole level... I was like, huh?.. I didn't even know the lyrics of the song! And I was just 5 years old! I wasn't ready then.... nope... still not ready now! Hahaha.

STEPS was the first group of singers who captured my ears. I was stunned when I first heard "One for Sorrow". FYI, I was seven at the time. Such an emo at a young age. lol. It took me two years to save enough money to buy a cassette player and a couple of cassette tapes. I also remember spending all summer listening to the radio and trying to record "Here and Now" which is one of my most favorite songs EVER.

In my high school, there's this event called the mass dance. A mass dance consists of the whole class dancing at the same time and competing against each other. Sorry, my brain's at its limit now. lol. Now, I remember a class from a higher level dancing to "Why" of Tiggy. I don't know what happened but I think I was hypnotized. lol. Ever since then, the lines "na na na na, na na na together as one" keep on repeating inside my head. Like right now. Hahaha. Na na na na na na na.....

Mariah Carey had already released a ton of hit songs but it wasn't until I heard "Through the Rain" that I fell in love with her voice. It was such a soulful song sung with such a soulful voice.... made me cry a little... *sniffs sniffs*... One (if not all) of her songs will always be my choice when I sing karaoke. lol. Sorry. I can't help myself. Hahaha.

Of course, I will also never forget the band that first started my secret love for Kpop: BIG BANG. The first time I heard "Lies" I couldn't believe what I'm hearing. I mean, singing + intense rap + more intense singing = WOW. Then I heard "Haru Haru" and I was like, WOW WOW! lol. They also released one of the best Kpop song ever: "Blue".... Can I just sing... I'm singing my bluuuuuueeeesss!! Haha. Come on, go here, watch, and listen. Soooo gooood. lol.

I want to tag Paula of Wow Nails, The Polished Pinay and Rachael of The Nailinator. I had a lot of fun answering the questions and I hope you will too. Thanks for dropping by! Good bye and I'll see you again soon!

Lol, I hated Physics too! I thought I was going to kill myself. I managed to get through. KPop is Fun! I need to stop one day and figure out who the groups are. I know you will help me. I love that you're a foodie! That's what my blog is based on and we both should take a baking class. Thanks for doing this! I know it took a lot, but I know a lot more about you doll. 1. Hahaha. I understand what you're saying. There are times when I want to cook slowly and eat slowly but there are also times when I want to just go eat immediately.
