Hi! These past couple of days were filled with angry rain clouds and sullen cameras and I had a pretty hard time taking swatches. Thankfully, the sun waved hi to me today so I managed to sneak in a couple of shots of this gorgeous nail polish before it said goodbye.

Salsa may look like your typical red creme at first glance but I think it's actually more of a jelly. I applied three coats and a top coat. Formula was okay and it glided on smoothly. Its brush had a strand out of place but nothing that a quick cut wouldn't fix. Salsa is really gorgeous and I think this will be perfect for layering.

Now, when I had to remove it to swatch another nail polish, it stained my fingers so badly that my mom actually stopped in her tracks and asked me if I cut my hand or something. (Imagine me holding a red cotton ball scrubbing like crazy while both of my hands were covered with pinkish red spots.) lol. I don't remember Simply Red bleeding like that but hey, I'll risk it and still use Salsa. Hihi. Anyway, thanks for dropping by! Good night and I'll see you again soon, I promise!

I'm playing peek-a-boo with the sun these days because it's rainy season here in my country so I'm not sure how many posts I can do per week but I swear I'll try to always have my nails and my camera ready whenever the sun shows itself. Hihi.

Kat, that color is gorgeous! It's like a party for your fingertips. It's been raining here a lot too. So I understand. Cloud cover is not our friend when taking pictures. HAHAHA Direct sun isn't either, but I'll happily take inbetween. Thanks for sharing your insight on my blog.
